smoky quartz 2

Ok... I changed my mind about not posting images of the paintings until the show opens. There are five, and I think I'll post one per day until the opening on Friday night. Here's Smoky Quartz 2 ~ oil on masonite ~ 4.75" x 7".

  3. i have a similar question to natalie. my dad is a geologist, and also a professor, (and yes...all of my friends have crushes on him...maybe it's just a geology thing), and i think that your paintings are beautiful. are there prints or a way to purchase one of the paintings? what are the prices?

thank you for any information you can give me!

  4. Thanks for your sweet comments!

The five I've got now are available through Narwhal Art Projects for $800 each. I have been getting the print availability question a lot lately, and I'm considering the possibility. Maybe for my next series. I would love to make them available to more people. I'll definitely post about it here if I do make some prints to sell.

  7. stunning.

come show in LA so I can see them in person! And ditto to what the gals said above- oh do make prints! can't wait to see what your next fixation is. i'm hoping for a) corals, b) botanicals, or c) insects. yes, i'm seeing dusky moths with velveteen little bodies and long feathery antennae.

    and more crystals and minerals.

  8. Carly, these paintings are insanely fabulous! I was wondering if you would mind if I wrote about them on my blog, including a couple of pictures, and linked to your site?

Please let me know if you'd rather I didn't!
    Best wishes, Juddie
